Frank Mighty is a Syrian-Canadian artist from Calgary known for his blend of indie rock and 80s synth sounds. Described by Wonderland Magazine as “somewhere between Passion Pit and MGMT,” he released his debut EP Whispersongs in 2021 to critical acclaim. Mixed by Grammy Award-winning producer Jacquire King (Kings of Leon, James Bay), the EP earned placements in Netflix’s hit series Ginny & Georgia.
His 2023 EP Never Homesick, produced by Frans Mernick (Foster the People, MisterWives), was inspired by travels through the Canadian Rockies and Pacific Northwest, exploring themes of home and belonging. The fan-favorite track Unattainable surpassed 300,000 streams, leading to festival appearances at Tall Pines and Aurorapalooza, and a sold-out headline show at Toronto’s Drake Hotel.
In 2024, singles from Nexterday landed major editorial playlist placements and earned him an opening slot on the Quinn XCII tour, including Toronto’s legendary Danforth Hall. Now, Frank is preparing for his debut full-length album (slated for May 2026). Collaborating with Matt Snell (Dua Lipa, Dermott Kennedy), the album rollout began with the summer 2025 release of Been Done, an infectious upbeat rock track accompanied by a charming music video that showcases his evolving sound and playful storytelling. His latest release, Young Forever, is receiving heavy spins on SiriusXM’s Poplandia & The Verge. It is also claiming the charts on college radio.
